BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 2005--United
Auto Group, Inc. (NYSE:UAG), a worldwide automotive retailer,
announces the completion of its expansion projects for the Lexus brand
in Chandler, Arizona, and Warwick, Rhode Island.
Located in the rapidly growing area of southeast Phoenix at Ray
Road and the Interstate I-10 freeway, the new Chandler facility is a
companion point to complement the Company's existing Lexus franchise
in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 66,000-square-foot facility is located on
a 24-acre site in a campus-like setting adjacent to the company's
Mercedes-Benz of Chandler dealership. With the opening of this new
facility UnitedAuto has added an additional 30 service bays to handle
Lexus's expanding units in operation in the Phoenix market.
Additionally, UnitedAuto has opened its newly constructed Lexus
dealership in Warwick, Rhode Island. The new facility represents the
latest stage in the expansion of UnitedAuto's Inskip Automall. The
44,000-square-foot facility has been designed to improve customer
service and support the brand's increasing units in operation. The new
facility adds 17,000 square feet and an additional 13 service bays,
virtually doubling the service capacity at the Inskip location.
